This is not just a painting on canvas, but also a special tribute to the relationship between cats and their human companions, created by our talented 8-year-old daughter, Alexandra Laabs , who is a huge cat lover.
✨ Alexandra's creative journey
As owners of the Laabs Art Gallery, we proudly support Alexandra on her artistic path and help her develop her passion for art. This image was selected for the Top Selection in Milan in December 2023, where Alexandra was the youngest participant in the prestigious Competition Artista d'Europa was. Selection for the Top Selection means that Alexandra's paintings are included in the database of the best art galleries in the world . The picture was also shown in 2024 in our Laabs Art Gallery in Germany and in the gallery “El Papa Hemingway” exhibited in Świnoujście. This work was part of an exclusive exhibition during the event “Top Woman Experience” in Warsaw as well as an exhibition in Kielce Exhibition Center. As part of the collaboration between Laabs Art Gallery and Targi Kielce, we have a 24 m x 8 m The large stand presented over 100 works by our family, including 10 works by Alexandra.
🐱 Love for cats
Alexandra paints tomcats because she is a great cat lover and has several cats. We have Ragdoll and British Shorthair cats in our house, which are a source of inspiration for many of her works. The tomcat, portrayed in a majestic pose, symbolizes the mystery and mystique that surrounds cats. This work of art invites you to new the subtle elegance and deep character of these beloved pets, seen through the eyes of a young artist.
