My painting "The Guardian of Knowledge" is inspired by Minerva, the goddess of wisdom from Roman mythology.

Firstly, I love Italy and Rome, and I am also interested in ancient history and myths of different peoples. I am fascinated by how ancient cultures interpreted the world around them and how their myths and legends influenced the development of civilization and today's perception of values such as wisdom, strength and protection.

"The Guardian of Knowledge" symbolizes the protection and transmission of wisdom.

Minerva, as the goddess of wisdom, not only symbolized knowledge but also protected against injustice, giving her character depth and universality. I believe that God is patient but fair and that the truth always prevails. You can't give up if you believe something is unfair. I believe that those who act unjustly and those who consciously help injustice will sooner or later feel the consequences of their actions. Good returns, and so does evil.

The Guardian of Knowledge depicted in my painting has the knowledge of all time. She is in able to point out to us what we ourselves do not know. Your knowledge comes to us in the form of intuition. We think we came up with it ourselves, but it is a gift from her. Your wisdom and guidance help us discover the truth and make the right decisions, even in the most complicated situations.

Minerva - goddess of wisdom in Roman mythology

Minerva was worshiped as the goddess of wisdom in Roman mythology. Her counterpart in Greek mythology was Pallas Athena. Especially honored by the ancient Etruscans, she was considered the goddess of inventions and discoveries. The Romans also held them in high regard, which was confirmed by the gladiator fights during the Quinquatria celebrations in their honor.

Minerva was the daughter of Jupiter and the patroness of cities and people who practiced noble professions such as artists, musicians, doctors, sculptors and craftsmen. The festival of Quinquatria was celebrated in her honor and lasted for five days at the end of March. During this time, students were exempt from classes and children brought school fees to their teachers. All the citizens made sacrifices to the goddess, and on the last day of the festival Minerva "received" the offerings.

The Roman goddess Minerva was part of the divine triad, which also included Jupiter and Juno. A temple was built on Capitol Hill in honor of these three deities. Minerva was also considered a goddess, jumping out of Jupiter's head, in full armor and with a shield and spear in her hands.

Minerva played a very important role in Roman mythology. She was an advisor to Jupiter and defended innocent people by she protected them from injustice. She was also the patroness of art, science and women, whom she supported in their work. Your leadership is close to me as a woman involved in art and as a scientist with a doctorate in economics.

The color scheme of the painting "The Guardian of Knowledge"

The color scheme of the painting "The Guardian of Knowledge" is carefully selected to reflect the majestic and mystical nature of the main character and the world around her.

The main character, the Guardian of Knowledge, is dressed in intense red robes, symbolizing strength, energy and determination. This draws attention to the central figure and emphasizes his importance. The background of the painting consists of a calm, blue sea, the hues of which represent the mysteries and depth of the ocean, contrasting with the red robes of the Guardian of Knowledge.

The sky is dark and gives the atmosphere of the night. Gold-white stars can be seen in the dark sky, giving the nighttime landscape shine and magic. The stars symbolize wisdom and guidance, illuminating the darkness and showing the way.

The entire color palette creates a harmonious and dynamic composition that attracts the eye and stimulates reflection on the importance of knowledge and its protection. The red of the Guardian of Knowledge's robes contrasts with the cool blue tones of the sea and dark sky, while the gold and white stars give the painting a touch of divinity and supernatural power.
