All of our art prints offered are high-quality reproductions printed using the giclée technique. This advanced printing technique enables the production of exceptionally high quality images that retain all the detail and color depth of the original artwork.

What is the giclée technique?

The giclée technique allows high-resolution printing of large-format and artistic images using a digital inkjet printer using lightfast, dye- or pigment-based inks on high-quality image carriers. Giclée is a screenless direct printing process that was developed in the 1990s to maturity for use on large format fine art papers. It is particularly suitable for reproducing images rich in color and detail. Giclée printing is characterized by a very high resolution, which results in extreme detail as well as a high level of nuance, contrast and color saturation. Thanks to the specially pigmented inks, significantly more color gradations can be reproduced than with conventional printing processes.

Giclée printing is suitable for particularly demanding print media such as handmade and watercolor papers, artist's canvas and even silk. Today, both the printing technology and the inks and printing materials meet the highest conservation standards. In terms of resolution and color sensitivity, giclée printing even surpasses traditional methods of original graphics such as traditional lithographic printing or serigraphy.

We use pigmented inks that are UV protected and fixed by UV light, ensuring exceptional resistance to fading and long-lasting color vibrancy. This process allows the production of reproductions that are almost identical to the original, preserving all the subtleties and shades of color.

Reproductions on canvas

Our canvas printed reproductions are stretched on stretcher bars, meaning they can be hung on the wall immediately upon receipt. Each reproduction is carefully prepared to meet the highest quality standards. We use high-quality Italian cotton canvases that perfectly reproduce the texture and look of the original paintings. In addition, our pictures are equipped with metal hangers so they can be hung immediately upon receipt.

Upon request, we will send you high-resolution photos so that you can see that the reproduction is of equally high quality and looks almost like the original.

Shipping outside Europe?

If someone wants to order a painting outside of Europe to reduce shipping costs, we can prepare the painting without a stretcher frame and only send the canvas in a roll.

We use high-quality Italian cotton canvases for our art prints. The original oil paintings are mainly painted on high quality natural linen canvases, which guarantees durability and excellent appearance for many years.

Alternative printing options

It is possible to have prints made on thick, high quality paper and framed, or to order unframed posters that you can mount in your preferred frame.
