Alexandra Laabs creates adventures of kittens who, like her, have an artistic soul and travel the world. She focuses on depicting kittens in various cute and charming situations . Her works consist mainly of computer graphics in which kittens are the central motif. Each of these kittens that inspires her radiates joy and smiles , just like Alexandra herself.

Inspiration from everyday life and family

Alexandra has five cats of her own: Omar, Luna, Max and the two little kittens Mania and Perlchen. They are the main source of inspiration for her work. Her artwork often depicts these kitties in various cute situations, giving her art a unique character.

Since childhood, Alexandra has accompanied her parents on visits to museums, art galleries and exhibitions. Growing up in an artistic and entrepreneurial family , she is developing her talents that have a bright future ahead of her. She follows in the footsteps of her older sister Victoria Laabs , who is also an artist and creates graphics as well as paints. Although their art is thematically different, they share a love and passion for art .

Alexandra Laabs – Traveler with an artistic soul

Despite her young age Alexandra Laabs has already gained impressive experience traveling to different parts of the world. At the age of 8, she has already visited 15 countries , including Peru, Chile, Cuba, China, Morocco, Egypt, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and many other European countries.

Long journeys have become her passion. For example, she spent 6 weeks in a row in Peru, Chile and Cuba. She had the opportunity to see the Great Wall of China up close and admire the majestic pyramids in Egypt. During her travels she also visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris and was amazed by the Colosseum in Rome.

Alexandra’s most important travel experiences:

• A high-speed train ride in China (over 350 km/h).
• A visit to the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
• Camel rides in Egypt, visit to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings.

Alexandra has learned to love Italy and Egypt in particular for their sunny climate and magical charm, which makes every trip unforgettable for her.

Her knowledge of German, Polish and English helps her a lot in these adventures. These incredible travels and encounters with different cultures have a great influence on the development of her artistic soul, shape her works and nourish her passion for art.
